One lesson, your library, and backup files

These tools have different jobs. A file may download to the same folder, but what it contains determines how you use it.

Working pack: one lesson

Your current workspace for choosing, arranging and adapting worksheets.

The Save pack file button downloads this one lesson, including its worksheet order and print settings. The Load pack file button restores one lesson into the working pack, replacing what is there.

Useful for sharing a lesson, archiving it by subject or moving it to another device.

My Library: your lesson shelf

A set of named collections kept in this browser, such as Monday maths and Rainy-day activities.

The Save current pack as a new collection button adds a lesson to that shelf. The Open selected collection button copies a saved lesson into the working pack for editing ↑.

Opening a collection does not download a file. Edits change the saved collection only when you click the Save changes to selected collection button.

Backups: portability and protection

One lesson

Save a copy: Click the Save pack file button to download a backup of the current working pack.

Restore a copy: Click the Load pack file button and choose a previously saved pack file. It opens in the working pack.

Your whole library

Save a copy: Click the Export library backup button to download a backup of all your saved collections.

Restore a copy: Click the Import library backup button and choose a previously saved library file. Its collections are added to My Library.

Keep these .json files in an organised folder or your own cloud storage. Importing a library adds collections and keeps ones already present; it does not replace your working pack.

For printing: Download pack PDF creates printable pages. A PDF cannot be loaded as a pack or library backup. Browser collections stay on this device; clearing site data can remove them, so keep a library backup if you want recovery.

Start with a lesson pack

Choose a small set of activities, then adapt your page order. Adding a starter keeps your existing worksheets and print settings.

Suggested ages 3–5 · 3 worksheets

Count and show to five

Connect counted pictures with spoken numbers and early written digits.

Learning goal: Count each object once and say how many there are.

Teaching notes and worksheet previews

Suggested order: Count aloud together, trace a numeral, then compare two groups using more, fewer or the same. An adult can write the comparison symbol.

Adapt the lesson: Use counters over the pictures first. Move to 6–10 only when counting to five is comfortable.

Work at the child’s pace; you do not need to finish every sheet in one sitting.

Suggested ages 5–7 · 3 worksheets

Build a whole to ten

Represent quantities, complete a ten frame and find missing parts.

Learning goal: Explain how two parts combine to make a whole.

Teaching notes and worksheet previews

Suggested order: Show quantities in frames, complete the make-ten sheet, then solve number bonds with counters if needed.

Adapt the lesson: Start with bonds within five. Use New practice sheet on ten frames for another attempt without raising the level.

Work at the child’s pace; you do not need to finish every sheet in one sitting.

Suggested ages 3–5 · 3 worksheets

Look closely: shape and size

Notice what changes and explain whether the difference is shape or size.

Learning goal: Describe a visible difference using shape and size words.

Teaching notes and worksheet previews

Suggested order: Match identical pictures, find the differently sized picture, then sort big and small shapes.

Adapt the lesson: Ask the child to point before drawing or circling. Keep colour mode the same so the focus stays on shape and size.

Work at the child’s pace; you do not need to finish every sheet in one sitting.

Position words and paths

Practise inside, outside and beside before following a simple route.

Learning goal: Use position words to describe where an object is.

Teaching notes and worksheet previews

Suggested order: Read the inside/outside directions aloud, try beside/between with real objects, then trace the maze route with a finger.

Adapt the lesson: Model each position with a toy first. Offer the pencil only after the child can follow the route with a finger.

Work at the child’s pace; you do not need to finish every sheet in one sitting.

Suggested ages 3–5 · 3 worksheets

Listen to position words, match pictures and sort familiar shapes.

Teaching notes and worksheet previews

Suggested order: Trace shapes, follow straight paths, then colour a large picture.
